Perelada Gran Claustro Brut Nature 2019 is a cava characterised by its fine and enduring bubbles, seamlessly integrated. On the nose, it reveals clean aromas with hints of dried fruits, complemented by subtle ageing nuances and mineral undertones that define its unique character. On the palate, it presents a creamy and mature texture, with a slight fruity touch and a well-achieved balance.
Style Perelada Gran Claustro Brut Nature
Perelada Gran Claustro Brut Nature is a Perelada cava made from a coupage of selected grapes from vineyards in the D.O. Cava. It is made from Pinot Noir (43%), Chardonnay (43%) and Parellada (14%).
The must is vinified under controlled fermentation. Perelada Gran Claustro Brut Nature is aged for more than fifteen months in the bottle before disgorgement.
In 1959, when D. Eisenhower, President of the United States, visited Spain, Perelada was commissioned to select a cava for the reception dinner.
They chose a small reserve of their own that turned out to be a resounding success. From that success, Perelada Gran Claustro Brut Nature was born.
This is a great cava: complex and balanced with fine bubbles.
